A. No, The eyelash extensions are placed away from the base of your natural eyelashes and you will not feel the extensions. Our lashes are a lightweight and have a luxurious design, which ensures that your new extensions will feel like they are your own eyelashes.

A. Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thickness. Elluminize offers a complimentary consultation. During the consultation we will discuss the style that you are interested in. We also determine what your face shape, eye shape, and natural lashes can hold in regard to size.

A. Since our eyelashes gradually replenish daily, it is possible for you to lose 1-4 lashes each day. When they are at their normal length and thickness, it is not noticeable that you are losing lashes. However, with extended lashes you will see the difference in the length. You will notice your lashes naturally shedding with your extensions (as they always have). In order to maintain your initial set, we suggest a refill appointment every 4-7 weeks.

A. Yes, Our products were designed to keep up with your busy lifestyle. Our clients love how our extensions last and last, even when worn on vacation, skiing, swimming, snorkeling, and sunning all day. We recommend that you wait 24-48 hours after your appointment before visiting a spa, sauna, or workout to allow adequate adhesive bonding. After 48 hours you may resume your regular schedule.

A. The lash extensions are glued about 1mm away from your skin. Neither the synthetic lash nor the glue comes in contact with your skin.

Traditional eyelash curlers are not recommended, because they will break the synthetic lash. However, we offer a special eyelash curler that uses heat, and is gentle on the extensions.

A. Most people with extensions find it is unnecessary to use mascara, since the extensions provide a full and luscious lash-line. However, we offer special coating mascara that will not deteriorate the adhesive bond as traditional mascara would.

A. There are two ways. You can have them professionally removed, which involves using a special eyelash extensions remover which helps to break the bond of the glue. Alternatively, you can allow the extensions to fall off by themselves.
